For more experienced teachers, they may provide an additional resource linked to the very specific areas of mathematics identified. For less experienced colleagues, or those newer to teaching children working at this level, these will be more useful and could act as a guide to the pitch of work necessary for children to attain level 1. Reference to learning resources in particular is often welcomed by teachers.
